The project required the complete refurbishment of the building preservation of its significant features and the provision of disabled access, new toilets and stores.The building a protected structure, had been unoccupied and had fallen into serious disrepair. The brief involved renovating the building and installing new sash windows and internal doors to replace inappropriate 1970’s additions. It was necessary to make the building comply with current fire and accessibility regulations and improve the buildings insulation while at the same time preserving its original features
